Crisis Management

A calm head, a team approach and plenty of experience are what our crisis communications experts bring to organisations battling reputational issues and crises.

Our Director Michele Hider is our most experienced crisis communicator. From reducing the spread of H1N1 influenza through award winning communications, to providing some of the first public communications, after Christchurch’s 7.1 earthquake, Michele is accomplished in communicating difficult issues to a wide array of stakeholders. She is highly sought after and regularly assists businesses across the country with issues, relating to reputation, health and safety, liquidation and recently the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2016, Michele was invited to Oslo by the Asia-Europe Foundation to share her experiences and learn from other international crisis communicators. She is also an experienced Public Information Manager (PIM) capable of working in a New Zealand Civil Defence Emergency. As well as supporting you when a crisis strikes, we are there to help you plan for and ideally prevent future crises.

All companies need a good crisis communications plan and an experienced team to help them implement it.

If you were faced with an unexpected crisis, would your company weather the storm, or suffer reputational damage?

  • Do you know where the risks in your organisation lie?

  • Do you have a plan to manage each one of those risks?

  • Are you happy with how your staff engage with customers?

  • Do you have a crisis communications plan?

  • Is your data secure?

  • Are your health and safety practices and HR policies up-to-date and legally compliant?
